Gatorade Series

The official Gatorade Series that launched in the spring of 2008 with the Chuck Norris commercial for Mountain Dew, which is also distributed by our sponsor Pepsi of Hickory.

In the inaugural event the tournament sold out as 38 teams competed to be crowned 2008 Gatorade Atlantic Coast Champions. The official Gatorade Series is comprised of the Spring/Summer Atlantic Coast Championship held the first weekend in June and the Gatorade Fall GHC Challenge held in mid-September on corresponding weekend to the Greater Hickory Classic Senior PGA event.
