KFC Championship Series

The first KFC Championship was held in May 2006 to open the new Catawba Meadows Park complex in Morganton, NC with 92 teams vying for the KFC Championship. Since inception, the KFC Championship has been sponsored by Fulenwider Enterprises and advertised through discount coupon programs and promotional offerings in their KFC restaurants throughout NC, GA, and TN.

The KFC Series events are held each spring and fall with valuable coupons to restaurants, special prizes and gifts, and competitive baseball tournaments that attract teams from NC, SC, TN, VA, WVA, and GA annually. Over 600 teams have played in the KFC Series of events. The KFC Series provides gifts to local charities through the events.
