KFC Championship Series

History

The first KFC Championship was held in May 2007 at the new Catawba Meadows Park complex in Morganton, NC with 32 teams vying for the KFC Championship. Since inception, the KFC Championship has been sponsored by Fulenwider Enterprises and advertised through discount coupon programs and promotional offerings in their KFC restaurants throughout NC, GA, and TN.

The KFC Series events are held each spring and fall with valuable coupons to restaurants, special prizes and gifts, and competitive fastpitch tournaments that attract teams from NC, SC, TN, VA, WVA, and GA annually. The KFC Series provides gifts to local charities through the events.
