March 28, 2009 High SchoolsHigh School teams from up and down the eastern seaboard gather to showcase their skills and enjoy competition from area high school teams. This event is by invitation only and is hosted annually by NCHSAA coach Monty Sherill. Come out and see the teams enjoy playing different competition from around the country. |

Oct 31 - Nov 1, 2009 Ages 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18The inaugural Pepsi Haunted Halloween Championship will bring together great softball with a fun and exciting day of Halloween festivities, including the only Haunted Greenway experience in the nation. The last weekend in October is typically peak season for leaf colors in the area, in the floor of the Linville Gorge (including Linville Falls) and at local apple orchards. The tournament is a National Softball Association event and is open to all age groups and teams. |
